Swimming Lessons

Location: Country Inn, Walker
5:30-6:00 pm - Level 1 - Preschool - Recommended Ages 3-5: This class will work to familiarize children to the aquatic environment and help them acquire primary aquatic skills while also helping participants begin to develop positive attitudes and safe practices in and around water. On the final day, we will practice life jacket safety so life jackets will be needed on the final day of class.
Fee: $50
6:00-6:40 pm- Level 2 - Beginners - Recommended Ages 5-7: The ages are a recommendation but this class is appropriate for a student who is beginning to feel comfortable in water. They can stand unassisted in the shallow end. They are ready to start swimming across the width of the pool. All skills in this class can be performed with instructor assistance. This class will build on the basic aquatic skills, water safety skills, and concepts. On the final day, we will practice life jacket safety so life jackets will be needed on the final day of class.
Fee $60
6:40-7:20 pm- Level 3 - Intermediates - Recommended Ages 7-9: The ages are a recommendation but this class is appropriate for the student who is already at a comfortable swim level across the width and is ready to begin swimming the length of the pool and strengthen their strokes. This class will continue to build on previous learned strokes to improve strength, consistency, and technique.
